Emergency for 911

In the event you receive a busy signal while attempting to call 911, contact your local precinct. Locate precincts and telephone numbers below. The 911 phone lines went down for 2 hours last night in parts of Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. This outage was due to Verizon upgrading their call-switching software.
